Jess is a native Texan and has been in the Austin area for over 16 years. In 2008, she graduated from the Aveda Institute in New York City and has since then been creating stunning looks. Jess loves being able to transform her client's hair and specializes in dimensional highlights, long, layered lived-in cuts, and Barber-style cuts. She is certified in the Keratin treatment and feels that this service can do wonders for your hair. Jess enjoys connecting and building long-lasting relationships with her clients and is passionate about being someone’s “Day Maker.” In her free time, Jesse loves walking around Lady Bird Lake with her pup, practicing yoga, traveling, and listening to live music. It went so far that the shop owner began making important decisions for her.Tawny has been in the industry since 2001 and joined WET Salon shortly after moving to Austin from California. With a background from Wella's Global Education Academy, Tawny loves using color to enhance classic natural looks or to bring out your inner rockstar. She is an expert at designing a look specific to her clients needs and specializes in a wide range of styles from conservative cuts, edgy designs, fades, asymmetrical bobs, long layers, mohawks, and anything in-between. Tawny loves creating styles for formal events and she also has a passion for creating special-effects makeup.Hair styling may appear to be an industry that allows for creativity and flexibility, offering the mostly female workforce a career without needing to get a four-year degree.
