The Siberian Husky is a medium-sized working dog. Their height ranges between 21 to 23½ inches at the withers (measured from ground to base of neck) for males and 20 to 22 inches at the withers for females. Typically, Siberian Huskies weigh 45 to 60 pounds for males and 35 to 50 pounds for females. Often people envision these beautiful dogs as much larger than they are, but they were bred to be moderately compact in build. Despite this, these agile dogs are not only quick and light on their feet, they are also exceptionally strong for their size. In action, these dogs move freely, effortlessly, and gracefully over practically any terrain. Life Expectancy of a Husky - Pets

Laurel Breed: Siberian Husky (short coat) Age: Young Sex: Female Size: Medium Shelter: Northern California Sled Dog Rescue Location: Vallejo, CA 94591I have a 7 months old Siberian Husky, female. I just took her to the vet today for a checkup. She's doing great, i just got her spaded. Anyway, her weight as of today is 39lbs. Is that normal for a 7 months old Husky? I read in books that a female husky weights between 35 to 50lbs. But my puppy seems to be so small in size. I am silly, because i compare her to the huskies in the movie "Eight Below", and those huskies in the movie are much bigger than my puppy.
